TOURISM IN HOMETOWN (SURABAYA}

            On Friday 18 March 2016, at 04.10 pm in front of the asic English laboratority I have interviewed my senior in faculty of English Literature, Gunadarma University. She tell me about her hometown.her name is Vidiani Ratna Pertiwi but the most people called Vidi, she is in third grade and in class 01ussualy every student in class 01 who is smart, diligent , student prepare to get scholarship and an acceleratedprogram. She is said she was born in Surabaya city, the village is Kebon Sari, the located of Kebon Sari in the middle of urban in Surabay City.

    She is said Kebon Sari to have been densely populated and filled with regional mall. However, in there many city park. Surabaya has a statue of the middle of the city which is the icon of Surabaya. The statue is whale called SURA and corodile called BAYA and become characterictic from Surabaya city. She tell me the most people called “ KOTA PAHLAWAN “ because there is some is history that makes the city become “kota pahlawan “. She also said in the Kebon Sari can also be said of food or culinary city. Because as long as twenty four hours has outdoor foodcourt in any street, and many place in Kebon Sari. Like bubur ayam, ketoprak, gado-gado, steak, sate etc. And Surabaya has a traditional food or characteristic food from the city is “ Rujak Cingur “.

And about Tourism in Surabaya she said in there have some place can visited. For instance is Surabaya zoo, Jatipark, Batustreet and etc. She also said Surabaya has some unique culture.
